Hubby’s First Debt Repayment Plan Installment To AKPK
Hubby banked in the first installment for his AKPK debt repayment plan this morning. Although he could bank in the money on Monday, he decided to wait until today.
Why did hubby choose to bank in the first AKPK DMP installment today? Well, he did it on purpose!
It’s kind of a small payback to banks which had been calling him every morning and evening even though they had already known that hubby’s debt management program application was under process by AKPK.
It’s a small revenge to banks which had lied to him that his overdue credit card payments were at advanced legal stage and he would be brought to court.
Let me tell you which bank lied to my hubby — Hong Leong Bank. She called hubby a few days before Chinese New Year and asked if he had started his first debt repayment plan installment to AKPK.
Hubby said he had not known if his debt management program application was approved. The bank staff told him that he had better bank in some minimum payments as both his credit card accounts were at advanced legal stage and soon he would be brought to court.
I tell you, sometimes bank staff think customers like you and me are idiots who know nothing and are easily scared of when they mention legal stuff.
When she asked if my hubby had banked in the first installment to AKPK, it’s obvious to us that hubby’s debt management program application had already been sent back to Ipoh from Bank Negara and would be approved within a week or two weeks.
Remember! Creditor banks are not allowed to call you or take court action if AKPK has already informed the banks concerned.
True enough. AKPK’s credit counselor called hubby this Tuesday. This means hubby is safe from Tuesday onwards.
Phone calls from banks, warning letters from creditors and third party collection agencies no longer a threat to him.
Remember too! The moment you are called to bank in AKPK first debt repayment plan installment, you can heave a relief and ignore all phone calls and warning letters.
Since you have 10 days to make your first installment, take your time and let the banks wait for their money.
