Read Beware Of High Load On Server That Will Cause Your HostGator Account Suspended – Part 1.
HostGator advised me to use WP-Super-Cache plugin for all my blogs. WP-Super-Cache plugin? If you want to know what ‘cache‘ is, google and read.
Apparently this plugin could solve 90% of the high load problem! So I uploaded it to each of my blogs.
Right after that I replied to HG. I thought my problem was solved and my hosting account would be enabled again. But, Not yet. HG didn’t see any Mod Rewrite Rules in my blogs.
Huh? I uploaded the plugin, activated it and clicked, clicked and clicked the buttons available. Did I have to add codes in certain files or the databases?

I tell you, I was very scared of touching any of the databases. The codes were so alien to me, a woman who is not computer/IT savvy at all.
I was so tired and sleepy; it’s almost 4 or 5 ‘clock in the morning! I felt like crying at that time because I didn’t know where and how I should add the ‘Mod Rewrite Rules’.
Thank to HostGator support team members! One of them decided to log into my WP account and fix the problem for me. THAT really ended the high load problem and tension I had accumulated from 10 at night till 5 something in the morning.
I went to sleep at 5 something, but at 9 something I woke up and checked my blogs to see if there’s any further issue. Thank God, everything was okay.
With so many domains in a hosting account, I was worried the same high load issue would happen again in future. So I decided to move a few of my domains and blogs to my hubby’s hosting account.
As his account had only 4 blogs, it shouldn’t be a problem if I added two or three blogs there.
