Happy With Commissions Earned From Amazon, Chitika, ShareASale & LinkShare Programs
Love seeing the Ordered Items at Amazon.com Associates Central page very much. It’s the 6th today and there are 5 items ordered so far. Not bad.
I have been quite happy with the commissions earned from Amazon.com and other affiliate programs.
Between April 2007 and June 2009, I made $218.47 from Amazon Associates Program.
Okay, it may be a paltry amount to many. But it’s a lot to me – USD$218.47 x RM3.33 was more than RM720! I received the first check from Amazon.com in September 2009.
As for the earnings between July 2009 and December 2009, I made $167.75! See? From 2 years’ $218.47 to 6 months’ $167.75!
Keep on promoting Amazon products and pretty soon I will see Amazon check every three months. Oh, so looking forward to it!

I used to depend solely on Google AdSense earnings last time. But since early 2008, I have diversified and tried a few more money making referral programs like Amazon Associates Program, Chitika, Infolinks, ShareASale, LinkShare, Market Health and Commission Junction.
Amazon Associates Program hasn’t made up 1/3 of my online income yet, but it’s comforting to see commissions every month.
As for Infolinks, I haven’t made much yet. But, at least there is money trickling in.
I have stopped being a member of Commission Junction for many months. The reason is that the advertisers there seem to be stricter and most of them have declined my applications to be their affiliate automatically.
There are still some commissions left in ShareASale, LinkShare and Health Market. To be honest, I haven’t promoted their affiliate programs fully.
Actually I quite like ShareASale and LinkShare. Just that I am too lazy to find products from there to sell.
The reason why I am still with LinkShare is that I have made some sales from one of LS’s giant merchants – Walmart.
