Credit Card Predictions For Year 2009

I don’t think you need a credit card guru or financial expert to tell you some credit card predictions for year 2009.

With weakening economy and looming recession, you can expect that it’s going to be a tight credit year. This means you really have to think twice, or thrice before you charge that new 42″ plasma TV or Las Vegas vacation package on your plastic.

Bad economy and threatening recession mean that there will be fewer credit card offers for those with bad credit.

You’ll also expect higher interest rates and higher penalty fees for going over credit limits or paying late because credit card companies will do their best to squeeze as much profit as possible, especially in times of bad economy.
