Are You Ready To Max Out Your Credit Cards Or Cut Back Between Black Friday, Christmas & New Year?
How’s your Black Friday deal shopping craze? How much did you spend on Black Friday deals using your credit cards? Did you max out your credit cards in order to get the deep discount deals on Friday?
I didn’t spend much for Black Friday deals. The main reason is that I no longer have any credit card. I am under a debt management program (DMP), therefore I can only use cash when it comes to shopping.
With limited cash in hand after deducting the groceries, debt repayment to DMP, car and home loan installments, necessary bills like gas, electricity and telephone, it’s better to save it for emergency uses.
As expected, there were fewer shoppers out on Black Friday than last year. Owing to a housing slump, a credit crunch and the general economic downturn, shoppers were seen to hold on to their wallets tightly on Black Friday. They aggressively went after the best discount deals they wanted and then moved on.
Even if there are still Cyber Monday, Christmas, New Year, Super Bowl and Chinese New Year promotional days that offer bigger sales and deeper discount deals, shoppers are predicted to be spending with care or cutting back.
Are you one who is ready to cut back between Cyber Monday and Christmas or max out your credit cards to get the best deals?
