30-Day Challenge Of Tracking Every Dollar & Cent – Day 7

30-Day Challenge of Tracking Every Dollar & Cent – Day 1RM32.60, Day 2RM31.10, Day 3RM41.25, Day 4RM341.60, Day 5RM47.70, Day 6RM110.60.

Finally, I am back to the online world! But only for an hour or so.

My landlord will come back to install a new fan in the living room and an old fan in the dining room after he finishes his lunch.

He came at 8 a.m. this morning to fix the switches in the flat. See the switch and switch board there? What an old switch board, right?

Hubby and I requested the landlord to change the old one with a new one, but to no avail. He insisted the made-in-UK old switches were much better quality if compared to new ones. Sigh!

He took more than 1 1/2 hours checking, testing and cleaning this particular switch to make sure that there’s no ‘sss’ sound when it’s turned on and off.

This was the second time hubby and I requested him to replace it with a new one. We even told him that we would pay for it. But still, he insisted that his made-in-UK switch was more reliable than the made-in-China one.

I know if the switch starts acting funny again next time, it’s better for me to pay an electrician to have it changed with a new one.
