I had been waiting for hubby to make the call for final confirmation so that I could tell you what the ‘IT’ thing that I told you a few days ago.
Finally, he made that call. Yes, it’s confirmed that our house in Ipoh has been rented out!
I know I should have waited until the tenants make the deposit then only I break the news here, but, it’s difficult to keep it to myself for more days.
Okay, I did tell you my reasons why I hadn’t had the double-storey house let out for the past few years and then my plan of turning it into a homestay house/resort instead of leaving it vacant forever, right?
I feel like it’s God’s plan. You see, I started talking about turning the house in Ipoh into a home stay house two weeks ago and then making a list of to-have household appliances and facilities for the resort.
And then last Sunday. A friend of hubby called and asked if we were interested to rent the house to him and some of his friends. This friend of hubby is a very young, ambitious and talented man whom hubby deems to be a very potential ADUN in Perak in next GE.
Since hubby has very good impression of this guy and the other housemates, hubby is willing to rent out the house to them for RM400 a month.
I am going to share with you more details of the deal hubby and I agreed on to give this guy and his fellow friends in my next post of ‘Put On Hold My Homestay Resort/Guest House Project!‘
Breakfast – RM2.20
Lunch – RM6.90
Uphamol 650 – RM4.80
Total Spent: RM13.90
