2009 Financial New Year's Resolutions – Emergency Funds, Income Sources, Credit Card Debt

2009 New Year ResolutionsHappy New Year 2009! Have you had your list of financial New Year’s resolutions? I have. Well, I guess my resolutions for new year will be same as most people’s resolution list.

First, I would like to save $1,000 as emergency funds starting this year. It’s scary to see only a little money in my savings account. About $140 so far.

There are too many What if questions hovering in my head that it’s imperative to start an emergency funds.

Making more money from my online niche blogs and stores, and tuition classes is my next resolution. With weakening economy and looming recession, it’s wise to have multiple income sources. My income sources are from online biz and tuition while hubby’s income sources are from his local councilor’s salary and his own foot reflexology center.

The third resolution for new year is paying off more credit card debt or/and personal loans borrowed from family and friends.

They are my 2009 financial New Year’s resolutions. I am sure most people have the same financial resolutions as mine.
